While at HCA, Cairns Libraries engaged us to develop a knock-out livery design for their van to encapsulate what the library is about; no longer just books and magazines but a ‘whole world of technology and services’. To depict this I illustrated icons of the services to ‘pop out’ of the moving swirls.
What started as a simple graphic needing to appear on the side of the Cairns Libraries transit van, ended in a complete coverage of moving swirls of colours and shapes. Over all, the result is a head-turner. Even I can’t help but stop and watch the van drive by. It’s so colourful!
